He raced 4W (widest) through the clubhouse turn, gained onto the backstretch, and sat in a chilly stalking position through the middle stages, and after being coaxed to gain in the far turn while 3W, lost his spot when a 4W runner overtook him. A TOUGH TRIP in defeat, he ran gamely despite chasing in vain through the stretch. UPGRADE this effort moving forward!
